Hair Wizards Hair Therapy Center
We use the only the best equipment and products available in our Hair Therapy Center in Huntington. The Salon Lasers model 5000 (pictured below) and the SL Elite 90 (pictured above) are used to provide the laser treatments for our clients. These cosmetic lasers have 50 to 90 separate laser diodes that bathe your scalp and hair in pure red laser light.
Low-Level Laser Hair Therapy devices use Class 3a (650nM / 5mw) laser diodes. The laser operates at exactly the precise wavelength and power to offer the most effective benefit. The result is the appearance of thicker, fuller hair which can be seen in the photos below.

The Laser Treatment
Each laser treatment session lasts 30-minutes, and is given twice a week. (It is necessary to allow one day between your laser treatments.) You will relax in a private treatment room while sitting under the laser and read or watch TV during the session.

Evolution of Laser Hair Therapy
This non-invasive technology has been used successfully in Europe for over 30 years and is being hailed today in the United States as a major break-through in combating hair loss. Laser Hair Enhancement, also known as Low Level Laser Therapy, was first tested in Europe over thirty years ago.
In 1964, Professor Andre Mester began experimenting with the use of low-power laser energy in Budapest, Hungary. He observed that low energy laser exposure has a stimulating effect on the biological system, while high-energy laser exposure had an inhibiting effect.
In his experiments with wound treatment on mice, he noticed rapid healing due to microcirculation of blood supply. This healing was also obvious in laser light treatment of diabetic patients suffering with dystrophic sores. He was amazed to find sores that would not otherwise heal were healed, and he also observed accelerated hair growth and thickening of hair in the treated areas.
